Original 1933 Chicago World's Fair booklet by Arcturus Radio Tube Co. promoting the light of the star Arcturus and its history throughout the ages.
This 10 page booklet showcased the observation efforts of the fair to view and "power on" the opening night of the fair through a photo-electric cell. The rest of the booklet then goes on to tell the story of the star Arcturus throughout history.
Please note, the opening lines of the booklet are stating that the decision to do this was made in 1893 (40 years prior to the 1933 fair) and does not mean that this is a reprint from 1973 - this is an easily confusing point.
While this booklet really has nothing to do with vacuum tubes, it is still a very interesting piece of advertising and marketing history put out by the Arcturus Radio Tube Co themselves.
Very nice condition with dark royal blue graphics.
All staples are present and in great shape.
It measures 6" tall X 4" wide.
This item will be shipped in a box, not an envelope.
We have several antique vintage Arcturus tube memorabilia pieces up for sale right now, so be sure to check out our store.
