Tested Rare Matched Pair of Lafayette 6SN7GTB Tubes with Original Boxes.
Date Codes D02. Made in Japan.
Tubes are closely matched for Gm testing (see below), dates and internal structure - they are identical.
Tall bottle envelopes with gray 6 hole wide ladder plates and top round halo getters.
The bottom flap/tab of one box has been taped, nothing dramatic but shown for your consideration.
Tested on a calibrated Hickok TV-10 military tube tester with no shorts and no leaks with the following results:
Gm Test = 2625-2750 and 2750-2750 micromhos
Minimum pass/good = 1650-1650
Further tested under real operating conditions on a Class A amplifier and exhibiting no microphonics.
