(1) 1944 Western Electric 725-A Tube Still Factory Sealed in its Original Box.
WW2 wartime production. United States Navy stamped with an acceptance date of June 6, 1944. Still sealed in the box.
The 725-A tube is a 60kw pulsed magnetron often used in aircraft equipment.
It weighs about 3.5 lbs. Measures 9 1/4" tall X 9 1/2" wide X 6" deep.
The box is in very nice shape with little wear. Vibrant graphics with no fading. One spot of torn tape on the side. The left side edge has a cloth tape on it which is presumed to be from manufacturing since the paper seal tape is over it and there are no other signs of the package having ever been opened.
